Fast construction. Large books fit well on the lower shelf. Doesn't block my window. Looks as good as the picture, though I think the finish on mine is slightly darker. Great shelf.

I purchased this item to use with fabric storage bins. The shelves are wide and the presentation is very attractive. It is a heavy, sturdy bookcase and I highly recommend it. Only drawback is the somewhat tacky backing...but it is hidden by the bins, books, etc. I do have it placed against a wall so that hides the back, also.
