I had originally purchased this item last year but had to replace them due to a flood. I didn't go anywhere else to get replacement shelves, I went straight to this site to re-purchase. These shelves are excellent at holding a significant number of books, they are sturdy and well made. They are also easy to assemble thanks to excellent directions. The wood tone is slightly darker than portrayed in the photograph.
