For a book tower, this one is one of the best I've seen or had. It has a very sturdy base, assembly was simple (once I got past the first few steps), and it can hold a lot of books (60 on mine, both paperbacks and hardcovers). Initially I was worried it would all fall over, but the base keeps everything in check.
Another plus is the size, because it isn't so large that it takes up a lot of space, but it isn't too small that it won't hold a lot of books. It's the perfect size, and it looks very stylish.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this tower!

I love it. It's little so it fits in the one open spot in my room but it holds tons of books. I counted and I think I got 65 on it. I was kind of surprised because I didn't think it would hold that many but I am glad that it did because I really needed somewhere to put my books. (Oh and sorry that you can see into my closet. Hehe.)
Overall, there isn't a single thing about my new bookcase that I don't absolutely adore. It's little but big enough and it's sturdy too so I don't ever have to worry about having too many books on it. The assembly was easy and it was totally worth it. You won't find a bookcase like this in stores, or at least I didn't manage to. I also think it's very cool that it just looks like a big pile of books from far away. Luckily, this pile won't topple over.

I use mine as an extra bookshelf, and am very pleased with its sturdy construction. It was very easy to assemble. It holds a good deal of weight. It will fit in unobtrusively with most kinds of decor.
Not so great: I forgot to send a complaint to you; just one of the shelves has holes that don't quite align with those on the tower.
(Don't really know for sure whether the misalignment is on the shelf, or on the actual vertical "spine".) As a result, the screws on one of the shelves could not be screwed in as far as all the others. All the others were aligned so that the screws went all the way in.
Since I did manage to turn the screws in to approximately halfway, and since no one can see the back of the tower, it has so far functioned O.K. to hold the books I have placed there. However, since I am sure this shelf, in the long run, is weaker than the others, I wish you could send me a replacement shelf, just to see whether it would screw in all the way. (Of course,I'd be willing to return the original shelf.)

used to store my dvd's and it's a great space saver! Easily adjust the shelves to specific range of heights. moves easily. Only wish it came with other colors like Black,espresso, etc. This is the best value compared to other "designer" spine bookcases.
